The title of a 'Producer' has always been an envied one. S/he is considered to be the 'Big Boss' of entertainment. One needs excellent people skills and also an understanding of the technical processes and work flows in the modern world of digital media.
Broadly speaking, a Film goes through three phases in its making- Production, Distribution and Exhibition.
In 'Production', the film is physically brought into being from ideation to shooting to post-production and printing.
In 'Distribution', the film is sold territory wise, both nationally as well as internationally. All kinds of deals are struck-ranging from outright sale to commission deals.
In the 'Exhibition' phase, the exhibitors and distributors arrive at an agreement vis-a-vis the final exhibition of the film in Cinema theatres. Here too, there are different kinds of deals and arrangements that are made ranging from fixed duration and fixed rental deals to variable duration and pro rata basis deals.
The present day corporate scenario beckons a systematic professional approach. At Digital Academy we offer the expertise that will gain a steady and lucrative entry for the students as independent professionals or as parts of a commercial set-up. Such detailed and broad-based practical knowledge has never been available in such a compact form. Conventionally, the only way to acquire such knowledge was by going through long, painstaking years in the business and learning it on-the-job. The DA production course provides a shorter route to such knowledge.
PRODUCERS COURSE DURATION: 78 SESSIONS OF 3 HOURS A DAY OVER 6 MONTHS.(Weekend batches also offered)
